In its preparation, along with the mentioned literature, the dynamics of the processes in the EU should be taken into account, especially after entering the new program period 2021-2027. It is therefore important to understand the significance of EU policies, the context in which they are implemented, paying attention to their objectives and instruments. When considering the specifics of the future application guidelines, the understanding that Bulgaria is increasingly asserting itself as a member of the European Union and actively participating in the implemented policies must be accepted.
